Just to be clear -- the floor mats are part of the "TRD Pro" package, and should not be charged additional for. Dealers will try to charge for these -- mine tried @ $199 but removed it without any drama.
Good luck on your search. :car:
Just insight, I put my deposit down on a Super White 2016 TRD Pro on September 11th, 2015. I'm still waiting.
My dealer called me today and told me that their Toyota distributor 'picked up' the order today.
I have no idea what that means, he told me it'd probably be another month.
Oh well, my trade in vehicle is just increasing it's positive equity value the longer I wait allegedly. So it's whatever.
:twitch:
Paint protection is a joke and a glorified wax. It is not a 3m clear bra. I would opt out of paint protection from the dealer.Thanks. I guess the 4-6 months isn't an exaggeration. Any factory options that people are glad they got. I assumed I'd order the weather tech floor liners, front to back. Port-installed paint protection film any good? I assume it just covers the hood and maybe front bumper, maybe mirrors.
Well, that truck had a SOLD tag on the rear view mirror on Sunday morning when I was there in person, and the sales guy I am working with there is looking for one for me....so I am pretty certain that one was sold. It was great, no options, no accessories (just floor mats). VIN ended in 14 the one I saw in person, so seems like the same truck.
Getting much closer to making a move here.
Is a discount of $1,497 off the MSRP plus port options price, pretty decent? This accounts for the $900 delivery/processing fee. Dealer seems like a straight shooter. Dealing with internet sales associate. Doc fee is fairly low at $150. No other hidden fees.

Has anyone towed a boat with the new T4R TRD Pro? I have a 2005 T4R that is rated for 7700lbs, not sure if the new TRD Pro can tow my 22' wakeboard boat :-(
Pro tows like any other 5G with the dual VVTi 1GR-FE: 5000 lb max, so figure 4000 lb practical. you don't say what your boat and trailer weigh but, yeah, it's not going to tow like your 2UZ-FE V8.Has anyone towed a boat with the new T4R TRD Pro? I purchased a white TRD Pro on Monday, 12/14 that was shipped from japan on 12/11. The dealer shows an arrival date to Nor-Cal of 12/26 and said it could take 3-5 additional days to hit the dealer once it lands. How long are your guys trucks taking in transit from Japan? Mine started being built supposedly on 12/3 over there and is scheduled to ship 12/20. Dealer couldn't give me an answer other than "soon" so I'm wondering what your guys trucks took to get from japan to the us, and then from the port to your dealer? Can't wait to get my quicksand 2016 trd pro!

Just had a horrible experience with a particular Indiana dealer. Wouldn't recommend them at all based upon what happened. I'll be going with someone local now. Allocation/Order process it is. Now, for the wait ....
Are you in the Kingsport, TN area? I'm from there but live in Knoxville now. I'm asking b/c I've got some GM connections to the local Toyota dealers in the Tri-Cities and would be happy to help out where I can. Let me know.
Mine arrived in a box. Ha.

Nice! Thanks for the help Hoodie. No, I'm in Grand Rapids, MI, southwest side of the state. My local dealer put in a special allocation order. Says he will know more on January 7. I've got a deal worked out for $1,500 off msrp. I'm just a little unsure on my wait. I don't need the truck right away, as I've found many willing to sell at MSRP. I'm not going that route. It could come spring or summer and I'd be alright. Sooner would be nice but not necessary.
