I contacted over 25 dealers when searching for mine and most tried to trade in transit as well without any luck. The problem seems to be that IF a dealer will trade, they will only entertain a TRD Pro for another TRD Pro. At one dealer, they would trade Land Cruiser's and TRD Pro's for TRD Pro's.
I traded my 2015 TRD Pro Tacoma inferno in for my 2015 TRD Pro T4R in white. Never looked back! The luxuries with the T4R far outweigh the Tacoma.

I'm new on here. I got lucky that one of the dealer in my area got one on the way. I didn't have to wait for 3-4months. Some guy ordered it 3 months ago and somehow he backed out last minute to buy another vehicle. So I put a down payment immediately. The latest update status I have on the shipping as of 01/06/2016 is Port Processing. Any idea how long it takes to get ship to my dealer? I live in West TN. The dealer also showed me that the date on Dealer Arrival is 01/13/2016-01/18/2016 but expect it to change.
I got the QuickSand color.

I currently have deposits on two MGM Pros. I have a question about "build date". I got one dealership to ask for an allocation, they are a small dealership. The other is the largest in the state and already had one on the way. I have a trip coming up I'd like the truck for and want the one that'll come in the fastest. I know allocation is quicker but I ordered the other mid November.
My question is this; Did any of you "order" one and if so how long did it take from the build date to delivery? I ask this because the small dealer says it'll be here 1/17 but was built on 1/4. Could this be the date it was "built" or turned into a pro at the port? Sorry for the novel. Thank you for all the info and help.

well my Dealer Daily sheet shows the Production Month on my vehicle in Nov.
Available for Shipment 12/02/2015

So I don't know what to believe the 13th or the 18th?

This was almost identical to mine a year ago. My truck was built on thanksgiving day and I took delivery on 15 Jan 2015.
The dealer arrival dates is the range of dates that it is expected to arrive within.
Thanks, the big dealer said arrival of theirs should be mid to late Feb. so it sounds like the other would arrive around the same time. Either way I can't wait! I hope yours arrives the 12th!

Don't get Digital. Try to see if you can find Multicam if not Coyote Brown. We're in the transition from Digi to Multicam now. I hate the Digital Cam. It sucks! Doesn't blend in anything but bright gravels! lol
I will get the WeatherTech. I was wishing that the guy who ordered this vehicle that backed out last minute didn't order the All weather Floor Mat with the vehicle. That floor mat was $200 on my vehicle spec sheet! I ask the dealer can they take it out because I don't want it. They said no because it built for the vehicle so we won't take it out or reduce the money.

The variation in delivery times for everyone is quite interesting. I ordered mine on November 5th and it arrived on December 15th. 6 weeks from build to delivery. I wonder why the variation in times?
If anyone is interested, I know that Toyota of Walnut Creek (California) has a white one being delivered to them tomorrow that will be/is looking for a home.

That's a fact! The 2016 Tacos made great strides to address a lot of that. My buddy just bought a 2016 TRD Off-Road and I took it out for a drive. It's really, really nice...but still isn't a 4Runner.

Thanks for the tip. I wondered about also doing tan weather techs but I probably wouldn't like it without a tan based seat cover, as the interior is all black.
In other events, looks like my vehicle was built this past week. I'm assuming a VIN should be available upon build, no?

Interesting, I went in there mid December, and the salesman and general manager told me they are selling the TRD Pro for 10K over MSRP. Man that pissed me off, as I've purchased 3 previous trucks from them. Went home and did a query on True Car, and had the internet manager from Antioch Toyota email me with a White one that was in route and he charged me MSRP.
Got it Friday and took it to Tahoe Saturday. What an awesome vehicle.
As far as delivery time, the Vehicle was on the boat 12/11 and hit the dealer 1/8. Hit the port on 12/30 so probably a few days delay due to New Years.
