4runner TRD Pro

Here's one more pic I found tonight

question for TRD Pro owners: which clock does the TRD Pro have? Does it have the regular clock that only tells time or the Trail clock that also shows compass and temperature and MPG?

Since 2015 all 4Runners don't have the multi display in the center stack, so there's only a regular clock.

Just to be clear - the compass, temp and mpg are on the speedometer in front of you and the clock is just a clock. All the same features in different places than the 2014 and earlier.

2017 4Runner TRD PRO

I saw this yesterday at the NY Auto Show.

Toyota had all the TRD PRO trucks on display in their new color called "CEMENT"

No changes to the 4runner at all except the new color.

supposedly the suspension is different in 2017 though. I believe they went to Fox for suspension, not sure if thats just for the Tacoma, or the whole lineup.

I asked the guy that was promoting the trd stuff but he could be wrong. Usually we know more than them cause we're 4runner specialists :thumb:

The grill looks a little bigger. Maybe it's just the way the pic was taken. Hoping they don't go the way of the tacoma, as in to huge.

Shocks should be the same on the pro 4runner as the previous year since there specifically tuned for the 4runner the Tacoma gets fox shocks because it's a new body style a new suspension by Fox could be added and tuned for tacoma

I think it still uses the Bilsteins. Saw a YouTube video and got a glimpse of the sign which shows that it still uses the Bilsteins.

Do you know if that "Cement" color is the same Toyota used on the 2013 FJTT, it's hard to tell from the photos/lighting?
That being said, they do some color changes in different light.

i think cement looks better on the FJ, im not sure why but it just does...

Yeah I agree, but i don't know why. I saw one of those FJs on the road the other day and it looked great in bright daylight, but these pictures under tungsten lights are leaning more towards primer grey.

I loved "Cement" or more apply put battleship (or aviator) grey when I first saw it on a 2001 Audi TT Coupe!

Still won't buy it in a 4runner until they change the butt-ass-ugly-sucker-fish-mouth front end though :biggrin2: ...even the new Taco, as ugly as it is, looks an order of magnitude better.

How would one go about ordering a cement 17 ?
My local dealer are a bunch of ding bats any time I inquired about one before..
What kind of deposit do they want and do they give you a set date ?
Could I trade in the 15 sr5 at time of delivery ?

Any dealer should be willing to take a deposit. Ordering won't actually happen for a couple months. Your deposit acts as your placeholder for ordering. First deposit makes the first order. At least that's how the dealer I went to does it.
