I'm in Salinas/Monterey area, and am waiting shipping of a Quicksand from a dealer in Montana. I really like the color - besides being somewhat unique, it will be cooler than the grey, and should show less desert pin striping than the white (plus it seems 2/3 of all vehicles are white today).

I went to Montana via cars.com both to find the quicksand, and to not pay the markup. Discount from MSRP covered the shipping cost.

Sounds good. I'm in Pacific Grove, we are close. Had the tundra out at Hollister hills not long ago on the obstacle course. Went over almost everything, I love these pros.

Glad you were able to get the color you wanted. We are using the dealer in Seaside, we have bought/leased at least 5 Toyotas from them so they arent going to mark up like everyone else around here.

Anyone out there try the LED headlight kits yet. I'm curious if they are any good? I know HID is not so great but I have not heard much about the LED light pattern. I'm thinking of trying these on my TRDPRO

I had them installed and am very happy with the results

The only complaint I've got is that I really wish Toyota would have painted the fender flares to match the front and rear bumper garnish pieces.

Could a body shop realistically match the OEM matte black from the bumpers?

I've looked at the Bushwackers, but I really prefer the size and shape of the factory flares. I just really wish they weren't monochrome with the body. Thoughts?

I don't know why Toyota didn't just make these emblems black from the factory. Way better! Sorry for the bad garage lighting. Weather is shitty today.

Yeah those blacked out emblems are way better then the chrome. Whats funny is I thought the pro 4runners were all blacked out from the factory like my tundra. This and the roof bars being chrome ... :frusty:

$100 for plastic covers? Fùck that shit. Sure, the dip didn't come out the way I expected, but a happy surprise it kinda matches the paint. Also gave it a much needed cleaning.

Luckily with my employee discount it came out to $68. Still not cheap but took 5 minutes to do so for me it was worth it. Good work on yours.

For the whole kit 00012-R1640-01? Not too bad. How much they charge for just the rear? I think the part number is 00012-R1640-23-24
