Nothing major, just finally got my black plates to complete the look with the black emblems.

After what seems like a long wait finally getting my TRD tomorrow. Gotta fly up to Nappa Valley and drive it back to LA, but that saved me at least $9k over what the LA/OC dealers are charging. The estimates from Toyota on when it will get to port, and when it will arrive from dealer sure aren't precision!!

Will finally be over tomorrow and later in the week will say goodbye to my beloved Rubicon. Not wheeling enough to justify bouncing around in a loud soft top Jeep at 10mpg...that or I am just getting older and over the lifting and modifying things to be "hard core" when I do not live somewhere I can wheel on a regular basis without driving a few hours each way. Maybe someday if I move to Colorado I can have a 4runner and a Jeep again :-) TRD 4runner seems like a good compromise to me for now.

The silver roof rack really looks off on SR5, Trail and TRDP's. Torn between a Baja standard basket rack vs wrapping the silver part of the OEM rack and adding a Yakima basket.

That's a sick lift. What type of lift and what size it's do you have?!

I would go with the gobi rack. They throw in a ladder and hd struts for the hatch. Plus I have seen a post about the Baka racks damaging the roof ...

I am going to plastidip my silver rack until I get the $$$ for the gobi.

Help Please

Hello all,

Looked under my vehicle today and im not sure if im missing something or not so im requesting some help from you TRDP owners. Im not sure if Im missing a valence in the front or not. Half the vehicles i see on google have it, and half of them dont...

When I look at a TRDP oil change online its missing as well?

SO what gives?? is the extra valence region specific and was done at the port?? are they leaving this valence off during one of my oil changes? I have what appears to be muddy water that backslashed onto the engine and i think this valence is there to somewhat help

when i look under my vehicle it looks like this

^ searching online im see that some of them have it??

Baja has remanufactured their rack mounts. They sit completely in the drip rail now with no way to damage your roof unless you over load them. Just FYI, they did a recall and are sending new roof mounts to anyone who asks

Question: is that a Gobi with a no rise option with a light bar? If so, any wind noise not having the wind deflector on? Did you choose to leave it off or don't have a choice due to clearance issues?

Okay so I guess 3 questions.:mmph:

Sick ride!

+1, I live in SF and there are some very tight parking garages. Just ordered my GOBI last week and sure there is time to change the order..

I didnt know there was a no rise option and would also be interested in the above responses!

Its in the Sig but you wont see it in Taptalk. 6" custom lift with 285/75/17's and a few other mods.

I didnt see a Gobi that is not full length. Dont need one that big and I remember someone selling their Gobi here due to the wind noise and went with Baja.

Mine doesn't have it

Thinking of ordering a new TRD PRO and a dealer told me it would have to be a 2017 model. Is it too late? Is he right? Seems kind of early for the cut off period for model change isn't it?

Considering it's June, why would you want a 2016 anyway. That's like buying a leftover without a discount to make up for the depreciation. Go with the new 2017, spec it how you want, and don't look back.
