4runner TRD Pro

Okay so I scored a Cement today in Round Rock Texas(North of Austin) Just a heads up they have another one that was still there when I left a couple of hours ago. I couldn't believe it. Someone even test drove it while I was there and didn't buy it. They won't hold it you have to physically be there to buy it and its first come first serve. If you're in or around Austin and want a Cement jump on this ASAP. Tell Deborah John who just bought the other Cement sent you. Also supposedly Red McCombs Toyota in San Antonio has one but its not a Cement.

Anyone? I just talked to Deborah and they still have it! First come first serve.

what did u pay and was this from centennial toyota? and I'm guessing u meant 46k?

yeah, 46k. I paid 3k over MSRP....ended up being roughly around 47k and change including the remote start, all options basically. Dave Wilson's toyota is who I did the deal with...centennial just left a message for me that they have one coming in if i'm interested.

Yea regarding prep DO NOT let them wash your truck if you care about it at all. Most stealerships have horrible car washes or run them through the gas station car wash down the street. Hardly acceptable! Also make sure you tell them several times NOT to drill the holes in the front bumper plastic.

Just placed an order for a Cement TRDP at Freeman Toyota in the DFW metroplex. They estimated that the wait time is 4-6 months. Hoping they are just telling me that and that the truck will be here much sooner.

They aren't unfortunately. I placed my order yesterday for mine down in Houston and I was told I would be in the April allocation for a May or June delivery. Hopefully it'll be sooner than that but don't count on it.

Here's to hoping for the best, but expecting the 6 months. Congrats on your order. Be curious to see how close our delivery dates will be.

I'm guessing I'll get mine a few days before yours because the port is in Houston, so a shorter distance to travel. Good luck to us all.

I still have not heard from my dealer on an exact delivery time. The best they said was 8 weeks. I ordered on Monday and they said the order "was in". Not sure what that means.

What do you mean about drilling holes? Are front license plates optional where you are from...?

Do yourself a favor and ask them not to wash it.

All the Toyota dealers in my area are new multi million dollar facilities that have nice car washes.

Its just a 4runner guys.:wink2: The dealer isn't going to damage it.

If your 4runner is clean you can actually inspect the vehicle at delivery for any issues.
The dealer will also.

young (presumably) and naïve.

I heard that most Toyota dealers are ruining the TRDP front end when they drill for the front license plate.
Because customers are more qualified to drill into plastic.

I have decided to let it go and just let the dealer drill for my front license plate.

Its just a damn 4runner! :high5:

Man, just waiting on paperwork to finish and might have my pro in the next week or so!!!

Can you post a non-close-up pic of the rear with the new overlays? Wondering how it looks?

Also, before anyone says anything I'm getting rid of that damn dealer badge as soon as possible. Word to the wise make sure you tell them not to put dealer badges. Totally forgot.

I'm in the same boat. Email from dealer today....expect it by next week. Mine was built 12/20. Probably came on the same boat. Which dealer did you go with?

Bellevue Toyota. The finance manger is a long time friend.
Mine will be delivered next week before Thursday. Barcelona Red with a couple of options which is fine with me. I have a S/S Gibson dual side cat back in the box and a TRD CAI just for looks and the screaming deal i got on it.

Your dealer and details please.
