there's a spot in Missouri that says they have 8 cement pros on the lot...
So took the plunge today. Went to go look a used 16 in quicksand and the dealer was asking 44k with 18k miles on it. I gave them a offer of low 40s and there were like no thanks. I told them I will just buy a new one that for that price. So put a deposit on cement today. Should be delivered to the at the end of the month. Customer ordered it and they backed out so it has a couple of accessories I could live without but happy to get one at msrp and pretty quickly. Had to go out of state to get one at msrp. Dealers here were marking up 5k.

That place is falsely advertising cement pros that have been ordered for months and pre sold. I already tried.
when did you order yours and did they give you a VIN # .... I hope you do get yours but I was told they were nt making the ones for Canada yet and be late march early April.

Would agree, but then again, they do throw down a lot of rock salt here in Pennsylvania

You can lease them here in Canada with the same rates and process of leasing any other Toyota car/truck. USA I don't know.

Leased mine and there was no difference in price between that and buying/financing. As far as holding their value, there's a thread on this site about prices paid by dealers for 2015 and 2016 used pro's. Take a look at it; resale value doesn't look like it will be a problem.

Would you mind sharing what the residual price was that they offered, and how much you financed through that lease? Most threads I've read on this seem to echo the thought that buying is king here, but the math/truth always lies with the numbers!
The other guy beat me there by ~45 minutes. They have another one in Super White arriving at the port on 2/17 and I put a $500 deposit down on it.
Only problem is they want $3,000 over MSRP and are not willing to budge.
Nice! Who is your salesman at sherwwod park? I just put a deposit down for a cement. They said they have 2 coming that are sold. You are obviously one of the. Is is white? Looks like you got a way better deal than me! They said next shipment i should have mine.

My buddy knows the owner. He basically took care of it for me. It is white. I think what happend is the owner ordered it for himself and my buddy talked him into letting me take it. Got lucky. Prior to that I did call 2 dealerships in Edmonton and 2 in Calgary. All told me there would be a 3-6 month wait and needed a $500 deposit.

First post. I placed a deposit with my dealer in April 2016. Went through the build with my salesman and specifically requested no optional equipment other than standard.
Received a phone call today saying that my Pro finally arrived. Asked for the MSRP and photo of the sticker. There is $1,700 in BS options that I never requested or wanted. I was livid and on the phone with the manager all day.
They said they can't take off any of the options and if I don't like it, I can get back on the wait list for another 3-4 months. There's no guarantee that the next Pro that comes will not have the same options. So pissed, but I guess I really have no choice at this point. Terrible business practice with zero regard for the consumer's request.

He's also full of shit about not having control over the options. I put my $500 deposit on a 2017 that's arriving at port in two weeks and was able to remove the cargo cross bars and add remote engine start. The sales manager did it right in front of me and printed out a new spec sheet for me with the VIN number and details.
