4runner TRD Pro

Haha this was a response to an old post huh.. Took me a bit to realize you were responding to my quote.

I guess it varies state to state? In california, they just recalculate and you just pay remainder if you did pay tax out of state.

haha, yeah I guess that was a while back... I'm on the forum less these days since I am through the TRDP research phase. :biggrin1:

Chandler at Charles Maund Toyota in Austin Texas has a Cement coming in early May that I ordered and have backed out on today. I found one closer and available immediately.

Boat hit the Houston port this morning for Gulf States. Anyone else get the word today that theirs arrived at port?

I have also heard from a really good friend of mine that their sales manager got an email this morning saying to not take any other orders for TRD Pro 4Runners as Toyota is no longer accepting any new orders for 2017's in any color.

I've spent this entire week doing nothing but city driving. No real traffic, but stopping at lights here and there. I've done my absolute best to use cruise control, accelerate very slowly from red lights, and coast in neutral as much as possible. The end result? I went from 12.5-13.0mpg up to 14.5mpg.

I'm about to leave for the mountains for the weekend, which is typically a 500-mile roundtrip. In each of my two previous roundtrips I have averaged 17.5mpg. I'm going to apply the same very mpg-friendly driving style to this trip and see if I can get the 20mpg you guys are getting. I need to determine if it's my driving style or my 275 KO2s causing me to get low mpg compared to those getting 20+.

Looks like a board member may be grabbing the cement. He also has two white TRD Pro 4 Runners coming in May also.

Sooo happy and excited that mine just arrived today. Me and my wife can't stop walking into the garage staring at it. Waited about 2-3 months for it but well worth the wait. I will try and post better pics.

well after getting dicked around with so many local dealers esp the ones who wanted 5-7500 over sticker i was just about to give up. well i figured id call a few dealers out in PA and see if they had anything etc. well after online chats and phone calls one dealer emailed me back Freedom Toyota out in Hamburg PA about 1.5hr away from me, told me they had one cement coming in with no ones name on it and that it was "in transit" with the options exactly as i wanted, (floor liners and cargo tray) so i jumped on it. so long story short i put a hold on it and approx 1 week and 2 days later i get this picture from my salesman.....

and picked her up the next day and drove 100 miles home this time took me 2 hrs lol

Congrats, knew you would get it

I'm so glad that people are getting their pros delivered. Thus has given me hope that mine might actually be on the way! Congrats to all the new pro owners.

I've been averaging around 17 mpg. Will decrease once I fit the new lift and tires. Good thing I work from home!

Took my TRDP first long trip. 1800 Miles Pennsylvania to Kentucky round trip. With KO'2s and 1" front lift, averaged 18.5 MPG running 70-80MPH running AC about 25%.

Awesome and good for you all out West. Been waiting in Kentucky since December. Only 2 have come so far before mine but I'm "next". The allocation process is nuts

Got my VIN yesterday from my dealer. No word on how long it will take to process and then be put on a truck to the dealer. But it's a good feeling to know I'll have it soon.

My dealer told me that turn around time has been averaging 11 days from the day it is offloaded to dealer delivery out of the Houston port. That is to dealers in Arkansas, it may be a few days less for Texas.

14 i believe

Thank you.

Mine made it to town but will be getting a few things done before I get to enjoy it....having the truck in town now is a much harder wait then the 5+months for delievery.

Shot of it coming off the transport and sitting in the detailers garage.

Congrats Cory. Glad you finally got it. So glad I got to see it in person before and after the lift install!

For anyone in the SF Bay Area, there is a Cement coming in at MSRP. It's on the ship now. Someone just backed out. Shoot me a DM for contact info.
