I had mine powder coated satin black for $80. I pulled them off the truck (not hard and I did it in a parking garage with minimal tools). $80 included sandblasting, etching a little line on the inside of the rail to indicate recommended spot for cross bars, and then the powder coating.

Came out great! Put them on last night and I'll take some pics when it stops raining.

Here's one shot (won't take 2, another to follow)

A month is nothing.... A lot of people on here have waited 4-6 months since ordering. I didn't hear from my dealership until a week before the vehicle was built. Then it sat for two weeks before being loaded on the boat. It should have reached port last week, but I haven't heard any updates since then...

Matt

You also have to realize this is when people made their orders in 2016... of course they waited 4-6 months. The wait time to get the vehicle now is about 2-3 months, at least in Texas.

During my search process, the dealerships that wanted to take my deposit said it was non-refundable unless they were not able to deliver the vehicle. How is it that people are putting deposits at so many dealerships?

This was the same case for my dealership. Had to put $1k down, non-refundable... so I'm not going to be able to just pick up a vehicle from another dealer

So got a quote today to have the rails wrapped in matte black for $270. That includes taking the rails off to wrap them and will actually wrap it into the channel and underneath the end caps. Thoughts? Seems like a lot but would look so good.

I bought 3M vinyl wrap off amazon for $15 and did it myself. It's not that hard to do, imo. Use a credit card as a squeegee to get all the bubbles out.

Did you purchase gloss, matte or satin? I assume you would need two rolls of the 5 feet by 1 foot?

Just curious but you guys getting the TRD Pro are you paying a mark up at all or is MSRP still possible? I found two but the dealers are firm on 5k which will push the overall financed price to over 50k making it not that great of a bargain.
