I had money down on a Cement since last year. I backed out of it and bought a TRD off road instead. And I am not missing it.
The dealer I used might still have one coming if anyone is looking for a Cement.
Wilde Toyota in Milwaukee.

when i was picking up mine i noticed the same thing, both rear caps were not installed for some reason, there was a small cardboard box in the back with the rear caps on them, the dealer installed them for me b4 i left.

I was told that they take them off while shipping them and like you said, install them once it is at the dealer.

Good to know! I'll make sure to check when mine gets delivered.

I'm still looking for a Cement Grey 4Runner TRD PRO so if someone is cancelling or backing out of their order or knows of a MSRP dealer preferably in Califonria please let me know.

I hope my post isn't against the rules but I'm getting so fed up with dealers playing games with deposits and upping the price last minute that I will pay someone 50 bucks for a lead that's legitimant and leads me to a purchase of a cement grey TRD Pro.

Maybe they leave them off for port/dealer installed factory cross bars? I noticed the dealer put little dents in my caps when they installed the cross bars for me after the fact.

Small update in my search. I have a chance to get a TRD PRO in red from a dealer in Cali at MSRP. I was set on cement grey but the red is kind of growing on me. I am just wondering if you guys think the red is more desirable, the Toyota website shows that the 4runner in TRDPRO trim are no longer available in red?

My dilemma is do I buy red now at MSRP or risk the chance of not finding a grey at MSRP later?

You're really the only one that can answer this question. If you think that you will have even the slightest bit of regret for not waiting for a cement, then I would just wait. If you'd be happy years from now with the red one, then go that direction. I have seen both in person, and both are amazing. I'm pretty sure you will be happy with whichever color you end up getting.

Based on this year and the posts made, the grey has been the most desired. It is unique color and only available on the pro. But if you like the red better, than go for it. I wouldn't buy something because others desire it. It's what your desire.

Personally if i was going to just get red or white I feel like the TRD Pro looses alot of its draw. Part of the reason IMO for the PRO is the exclusive color because other wise its not really worth the premium for the pro. I mean the TRD pro coils are decent but limited, tires are not really great, exterior changes can be done for much cheaper.

Honestly, I wont use the PRO for what its can do very often for me its the cement that is the draw along with the resale value. Crappy things to say? you betcha Ive had a 4runner bug for a while and Im at a point in my life were I want to give SUV life a shot and as a Toyota fan the 4runner is the best option as far as looks are concerned.

Also, just got notice from the dealer that mine will be here between 05-02 and 05-04-17

Awesome, you're getting close. What day yours made it to the port in Portland, or left the port in transit? I was told that mine should be here "within a week or two".

Texted my salesman on a quick checkup to see when in June it'll be here since I'm getting antsy.. He said he's not sure and that it just says "June." But I could move up if people cancel their orders. Assuming it's for the region rather than the dealership since I'm the only one with a cement 4Runner order

On the other hand, they just got a cement Tundra TRD Pro and was entertaining the idea of it. They wanted 51k with a bunch of options and accessories that I didn't care for or want. I said I'd take it if it was closer to the base/no options of 47-48k MSRP

Wait on the 4runner! I have driven a tundra, and it is a huge truck, which makes driving it in traffic suck!!!! The 4runner will be worth the wait in the long run.
