It's so strange to me how many people pay extra for the PRO suspension then turn around and replace said suspension with even more expensive suspension. I guess I am getting old...or wiser? I just don't get it?layball:
I'd imagine some people just want a pro and won't settle for a lesser model, but want it to do more. I know I didn't want any other model 4Runner except the Pro as no other model satisfied me. But my suspension stays as Is because mine won't see more than forest roads and sand dunes, so it's more than adequate for me, but some of these guys take their stuff to some serious places and the stock suspension just isn't enough. And there are others who won't take them anywhere but back and forth to work who tear out the suspension because again they wanted a Pro and they wanted to improve the look and capabilities if ever needed.

Ha! first mod was uploading the TRD logo when the display on the radio is turned on and off.
But seriously though i will be upgrading the low beams, fogs, and license plate bulbs to HID/LED from XD.

Been lurking for the last month planning my first 4runner purchase and mods, first time posting... if last year is any indication, details on trims, prices, release dates etc. all started trickling out from Toyota in mid June through August 2016 for the '17 model year

If you are going to purchase a Pro, you should do so this year. Rumors going around says 2018 will not have a Pro. 2017 may be the last year.
Called Big Two Toyota in Chandler, AZ on 4/18/17 and put my name on a list for white and cement. They took my CC for a $500 refundable deposit although they never put a hold on the card.
Dealer called on 5/5 saying they had a cement for me with a build date of 5/8 with ETA of June 1 ish. They called a few days later saying they had a different cement ready to go since the original purchaser's loan didn't clear. Both trucks had same options: cargo tray and cross bars.
Received delivery at my residence on 5/24/17 (in CA). Paid MSRP plus shipping plus "mandatory" dealer treatments such as tint, clear door guards, paint protection, etc.
I'm not sure if the cement with the build date of 5/8 has been spoken for. Might be worth an inquiry for those searching. Salesperson told me they get more Pros than other dealers.

I've seen those rumblings as well... I think I'd still survive in an Off Road Premium :cheers:
There will be a 2018 PRO 100%, but we're not sure on colors yet. I have no link. Be patient official Toyota word will be coming soon. Order banks open on 6/1 we should have information in July / August

Hello everyone, new to the forum.
I ordered one through a local dealer but apparently all 2017 4Runners are being held at the port in Los Angeles. If you check Colorado dealers the 4runner inventory is almost depleted.
Anyone have any info on when they will be released?? Getting tired of driving a crappy Chevy rental car.

What do you mean they are being held in LA? Do you mean it's just the port where they come into the country or are they being withheld? The ship carrying my TRD Pro is scheduled to dock tomorrow with a delivery date to my dealer sometime in mid June.
Mine arrived to port in LA/LB 3/28 and was scheduled to arrive at the dealer between Wed-Fri of last week... talked to them this Wed and was told they should have it by this weekend. Dealer is 3.5 hours away from port. :noidea:

Sounds like the dealer is BSing you. My new 4Runner arrived at my C. Springs dealership on 31 May and I picked it up on 1 June.
