havent posted this in this thread yet. Thought i'd share.

Figuring out my light bars soon. Waiting on a new bumper piece to come in without the half oval cutout.

What bumper is that? I like it.

2017 TRD Pro Cement

Hey Guys,

I am new here, and I know this has been beaten to death, but I got a call from a friend who is the GM of a Toyota dealership here in TX. They told me they have a 2017 Cement TRD Pro that is on the boat, and the original buyer had to back out of the deal.

They are offering it at $47K... that seems a bit high doesn't it? They will also let me do a lease on it so I am trying to figure out what my OTD pricing should be in line with... any advice would be great!

Looking forward to getting this thing if I can work out a deal.

if its more then MSRP.. I would degrade the relationship from friend, to mere acquaintances.

On the other hand... the fact that a '15 TRD Pro with 50k miles on it sells with no wait on the west coast currently for as much as a '17 fresh off the boat with a long wait on the east coast, and you are in the middle may make one lean towards taking that lease deal "knowing" that a '17 Cement just might sell for the same as the high starting price 2/3 years down the line giving you hefty equity towards a new '19/20 when the time comes...

Decisions, decisions!

ha! I use the word friend loosely. Invoice shows 43K MSRP and an additional 3,600 for all installed options. Vehicle protection program premium, sliding rear cargo deck, remote start, glass break sensor, deliver fee of 800, and black tube running boards.

those add up to about 3k extra.... or am I being taking to the cleaners?

It comes down to can you afford to overpay and how bad you really want it. Will the extra $3600.00 really make a dent in your lifestyle? Doubtful. You only live once and this color is pretty cool so if you want to buy a new cement your chances are getting slimmer and slimmer as the weeks roll on.

I agree, I am not scraping by to get this thing, and I really do want it, I just don't like getting reamed at car dealerships... I see if I can drive off at 47 including TT&L, then hopefully I will be rolling in this thing by 7/25

In my search, I found some dealers are willing remove almost any option with the exception of the sliding cargo deck since that's a factory installed option. As I understand, most everything else is port installed. On the other hand, I've found some dealers unwilling to remove the all weather floor mats option :twitch:

See if you can get the V-spec and try hard to get them to remove the options you don't want.

Time from Process to Delivery

My 17 TRD Pro was processed on 6/24, anybody have an idea how long it will be on average for delivery ?

Mine took 7 weeks from actual build date to dealer.

I ordered mine in late November, and took possession on March 28th. The dealer that I went through in N. Cal charged me less than what I pulled up as the MSRP price on TureCar. It was a great experience and I love the look of the Cement. Get tons of positive feedback on the road.

Well it looks like I am getting into a Cement 4R Pro.....Just put a deposit down @ Checkered Flag Toyota, Virginia Beach... I got a call saying they just got one in and if I wanted it...I was working with them last week and the Cement they had coming already had a deposit on it. I have been working pretty hard to locate one, so it feels good. It's going to be a 16hr round trip drive to pick it up, but I am going to take the wife along and make it a fun road trip.

Fake news........I got a call from the dealer this evening saying there was a mistake made, and there was a deposit put on it months ago.... All I can say is it's completely screwed up. The salesman checked the computer when it arrived at the dealer, and nothing showed any deposit, etc. Someone screwed up, and it really does not surprise me. The whole buying a Pro thing is so unorganized. Stealerships at their finest. At this point I am not really sure if I am going to continue to pursue one or not. It's turning out to be a real freaking headache..

Mine Processes on 6/30 and is expected at the OH dealership ~8/8/17

@joesfmd !!!! !!! Nice work Pal, Maybe I'll see ya on the road when I come pick mine up. 8 hours of your trip will be pretty awesome.

Put in our order on 11Feb2017, and going down to pick her up this afternoon. 16 week estimate ended up closer to 20. Saying goodbye to my 2004 makes it a little anti-climatic though. Lots of good memories.

TRD Pro Delivery Time

The dealer sent me an e-mail this morning my TRD Pro is being delivered today. I can pick it up on Friday after they do the PDI and install the 3M plastic film.

So from the boat pulling in to port until delivery to the dealership was 8 days.
