Received my build sheet and VIN today, i cant wait for it
The dealers around me in CT are apparently only allocated 1 TRD Pro in each model. I just put my deposit down for a 2019. It will be my first Toyota.

Im debating on getting 2018 or wait for 2019 TRD PRO, I like the fact that 2019 will have JBL audio system but I can also do a much better sound in 2018 as well by swapping speakers for better ones etc. I dont care much about Fox shocks and I wish we have little more info on what other changes are coming besides LED fog lights, JBL and Fox shocks. So far I'm stuck between the two :noidea: but does anyone know if there are other small changes coming to 2019 ? Especially interior or technology wise? Thanks for your advice guys

At least for the exterior, I know they are supposed to get a more FJ like roof rack if you look at the release pictures floating around. Otherwise i'm not sure much is different from what you already mentioned.
I went to my local dealer and put my deposit down for their one allocation of a 2019 TRD Pro 4runner because I need to get rid of my truck. They didn't have any information on it and I pretty much knew more than they did because I was looking everything up before I went in.
If you don't care about the changes that we know about, then I would go with the 2018 and see if you can get a good deal on one since 2019's supposed to come out in the fall...

Thanks! The only thing I care about is JBL audio system but I can do something with 2018 speakers too. Plus with FJ roof rack , JBL , FOX shocks and LED fog lights I really dont think the MSRP on that 2019 will stay the same, it might be slightly higher but who knows.. The only good deal you can get on TRD PRO is $500 off MSRP and even that doesn't happen often. ( based on multiple reviews that people shared their buying experience )

Your guess is as good as mine. I signed up for more info on the 2019 on the Toyota website. Sales guy I talked to at one of the stealerships near me said 4runners usually come out after September for the new model year. So lets say 6 months till something may come out. I would guess more info on them this summer though.

I had a general question with regards to the 2017 or 2018 TRD Pro. I'm located in CA, and came across a few used 2017 TRD Pros with less than 7,500 miles. CA considers cars with less than 7,500 miles a new car, and must meet CA emissions standards.
Would anyone be able to comment on buying an out of state TRD Pro with less than 7,500 miles, and whether I would have any issues registering it here in CA?
