According to Toyota dealerships I've spoken with (3 of them locally), TRD Pros have been unavailable for a while and our delivery has allegedly been pushed to April and beyond. So, they're illusive creatures up here. I heard 300 came in to Canada last year, not sure if that's accurate but they are simply not available here until next year and that's from Toyota.
Idk man I just heard it again on a TFLcar video of the TRD Pro posted 3 days ago.

He says it comes standard with a moonroof And JBL (which was already announced) but that their truck doesnt have it.
I'm thinking it's coming with a moonroof lol
All I can tell you is this.
When I build out any of the models that have sunroof options, it lists the option. When I built out my PRO. It didn't list it as an option. When I had the options sheet sent to me, it lists no moonroof as standard, and nothing for an option. So I would be very surprised if its available in the US. A lot of people have said Canada gets them, I cant confirm that.
Their truck doesn't have it because I guarantee it's a 2018 PRo that they put the 19 suspension, skid plate, and roofrack on
Hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone else has heard this at all but I occasionally watch TundraDude34 on youtube and on his live stream video from Aug 1st, at around the 27 min mark he talks about some 4runner updates. He mentions the nightshade package (which I'm sure most of us already knew about) and he states the TRD Pro is going to come standard with a moonroof.
Usually info provided by this guy has been spot on, I was just wondering if anyone else had heard this??

2019 Pro has Sunroof and JBL along with the other upgrades Toyota has been touting. Problem is they jacked up the price almost $3,000 over the 2018 PRO. Now the difference between a PRO and a TRD ORP is $6,420.
MSRPs
2019 PRO - $46,415
2019 TRDORP - $39,995 ($100 higher than 2018)
I could justify $3,000 difference for the 2018 pro upgrades but $6,000 is a lot. (I won't rehash the debate of building a TRD better than a pro for the money) Plus the dealers discount the TRDORP to around $37,000 but aren't too willing to come off MSRP for the PRO which makes the purchase price difference even more.
I don't know what the options and stickers are like on the vehicles you see around you, but the cheapest sticker I have a seen on a TRDORP in my AO is in the lower $40's, most are around $42K, more like $45K if they have the blackout package (don't forget the delivery fee of $1100 on top too). The cheapest window sticker I have seen on a Pro anywhere was in the mid $44's ($43k is base with no accessories plus the $1100 delivery fee). My 2018 Pro stickered for $45,300 but again most are north of $46k. Now most dealers around here will give $2000-3500 off of a TRDOR/TRDORP, but you are correct that the Pro's don't sell for less than full sticker, some even pay over (stupid).
If the 2019 Pro will come standard with a sunroof and JBL stereo then I would expect the majority of them to sticker closer $48K. I personally don't care for a sunroof, I never use them, so I am glad that I snagged a Pro without it. There's no need for a sunroof when you have a full length rack up top and it's one less thing to worry about breaking or leaking.

What is stupid is that sticker on a Pro in 2017 was about $42,500 (good price). Now, almost two years later with 10-30k miles, they are being listed for mid to upper $40s (stupid price). I think I'll stick to an almost identical vinyl wrap for $2k.
Good that Toyota came to its senses and added options for 2019.
That's unfortunate... I actually prefer not having a sunroof.
Is there an option to remove? I never use it, it just adds additional cost, points of failure, or issues in the future.
