4Runnin Tahoe's Build Thread

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the feedback.
I ordered light smoke tint from rvinyl.com. The corner lights were kind of a bi*ch cause of the curve on it, but with the right amount of heat and stretching, it'll look good. I doubled tinted the yellow part. If you do it, order a little bit more cause you will mess up at least once.

Even though I had to walk across the whole parking lot to get where I was going, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to park in between them. My spoiler is off cause I'm painting it...

Motherf**ker!!!!

I came out yesterday and noticed this little dent... I have no idea how it got there. The only possible scenario I could think of is someone had something sticking out of their truck and backed into my car...:confused: Its a small little fu*ker but its annoying to look at, and I guess its gonna take $723 TO FIX!! :redbrick: :ybrick:

Man that sucks, i know how you feel too man, first week i got my 4runner it was all mint, some Ahole took a base ball bat to the same spot your's is dented in. but after about 3-4 wheling trips that was the least of my issue lol

Hahaha I have a dent in the exact same spot, no idea how it happened either.
 
Didnt know you had a build thread man, everything looking good, I like those L.E.D. foot well lights. Have you gotten a response or anything from the swatch place?

**** man thats expensive fix. when i replaced a tailgate on a previous 4runner i owned i didnt realize how much they go for.. lucky thing is the best place to look is local. junkyard or craigslist.
i picked up a color matched mint for less then 100$
only thing is dont forget to switch over the key for the hatch.

Yeah, they emailed me went something like this "thanks for your interest in our product, yada yada yada". Took a couple days to get that but once I got that I got the swatches within a week.
 
glad to see you have a build, your runner is clean man, sucks about that dent, id be pissed! look into paintless dent removal, i had some drunk f*ck at a bar hid the pillar right behind my rear door, just before the rear glass and cave that in good. it only cost me like $200 for the PDR guy to come out and pull the dent, you can still see it if you know what to look for and how/where to look, but its 99.9% unnoticeable -even i have to look hard for it, and i know its there...

Thanks! Yeah, I'll definitely look into that. I gotta get that dent out, it bugs the crap out of me.

I did not. I've never heard of them but I just googled them and they seem pretty legit. I gotta check them out in the future lol

I actually would not go there! The order a lot of parts through my work and never seem to know what they want or are doing. I just stop in to bs with them. Plus the main tech there is a JEEPER. Hahahahaha

Haha I think he was put there to sabatoge the yota crowd!
He's got a fully built heep. They're really nice people there but I would let them touch my truck. Especially the mistakes I've seen them make.

Hahaha, well nevermind then lol. My dad and I always do our own work on our cars anyways.
