4th gen exhaust headers.

Yes those are short tubes. You will not get a CEL if you weld the shorties to you factory cats. So if go go that route you will not need a O2 sim.

Skyline, I'm looking at the long tube headers and don't want a cel. Do they have a bung for the wideband (pre-cat o2) and just not the after-cat o2 sensor on the long tubr header? Do you NEED the extender and to weld a bung to the pipe behind teh cat instead? I'm guessing I'll use the wideband and need the 2 simulators and gaskets and that's all?

If you get the long tubes then get the O2 simulator, it just plugs into the rear senors so no splicing or anything like that. I would recommend you get the extension so the ecu gets info from all the cylinders from the collector instead of just two. As long as you install the wideband before the cats you'll be fine, on the dtlt you could mount them on the to top o2 sensor bungs if you wish. when I installed mine I got new gaskets for both the ypipe and the cylinder head, I only did that for insurance. sorry if my info isn't clear today, I'm not 100%
