That should be doable, just depends on what others think. It probably wouldn't hurt to list tire size, but I don't know that brand or model is needed, because that's a whole different topic based on how the person uses their rig.

2008 SR5 4x4 V6 w/63k miles at time of lift. 2008-9 FJC 4x4 springs. Bilstien 5100s, front and rear, (1.75" setting, 2nd notch from top, on front). Daystar 1.5" spacer in rear. Full tank of fuel on before and after measurements. Before and after measurements recorded on same level concrete slab. After measurements were recorded after alignment and 200 miles of mixed driving (to allow for settling).

So, what if I just want to increase the ride quality without lifting my 04 V8 Sport. How do I do that? What components are best?

The FJ springs certainly enhance the ride of our T4Rs. The little bit of lift is an added bonus. I would recommend swapping the springs and hold off on a spacer if you're nit interested in any lift. New shocks could improve ride and handling, but in most cases would be more expensive than swapping OEM springs for hand-me-down FJ springs. IMHO, go with the FJ swap.

Since I recently installed my DS 2.5/1.5, I didn't want to mess with the front shocks/coils until I purchased some new 5100s.

So today I installed the rear FJ coils - I definately felt a difference in the rear suspension...a lot firmer ride! I didn't notice any extra lift in the rear, probably because of the DS 1.5. I did notice a slight height discrepancy (approx. 3/16") between the rear driver/passenger sides.

My Info:
2007 V6 SR5 4x4
Kept my Daystar 2.5/1.5
Approx. 48K miles

Before DS 2.5/1.5 (driver side)
Front: 33-5/16
Rear: 35-3/8

After DS 2.5/1.5 (driver side)
Front: 36-3/8 (3-1/16 gain)
Rear: 37-5/16 (1-15/16 gain)
Notes: CV joint/axle sits level or horizontal now.

Does anyone know if the 2011 fjc coils and or shocks will work for the swap? That is the only one I can find right now in socal.

I can confirm 2010 coils will fit, but 2010 shocks require modification to fit. I can't say either way on the 2011's. 2007-2009 coils and shocks are a direct swap, no modification needed.

Numbers are before, after, and difference:

Driver's front top of wheel well to ground: 33.5, 33.875, .325
Driver's front underside of running board to ground: 12.5, 12.75, .25
Driver's rear underside of running board to ground: 12.0, 12.5, .50
Driver's rear top of wheel well to ground: 35.25, 35.75, 0.50

Passenger's front top of wheel well to ground: 33.0, 34.0, 1.00
Passenger's front underside of running board to ground: 11.5, 12.0, .50
Passenger's rear underside of running board to ground: 12.25, 12.5, .25
Passenger's rear top of wheel well to ground: 35.75, 35.85, 0.10

Used FJ 4wd springs and Tokico shocks and struts (already built up) from a 4wd 2007 FJ with (I was told) 50 miles on them.

These numbers don't seem right to me. Are you sure you installed them on the correct sides? I see that your end result in wheel well to ground measurement is closer than starting, but a 3x difference in height gain seems way off.

The drivers side should have an extra wind of coil to compensate for extra weight on that side of the car.
