I replaced an OEM CV axle in the process of chasing a vibration issue. The issue turned out to be the passenger side wheel bearing, not the CV axle. I couldn't find a problem with the axle after removing, but I had already installed an Autozone axle with a LT warranty, so I won't use this one.
It came out of a 2005 4runner V6 4WD with 117k miles. I did re-clamp the axle a year ago because it was leaking grease. I did this on the truck, so if you wanted to use it long term, probably worth cleaning out and re-greasing, but otherwise it would make a great spare for offroading.
