5100's on 16 Trail question

Going to be installing 5100's on my trail today. Just wondering if you are suppose to use a trim packer on the drivers side like I had to do on my 3rd gen. Using these to level out my front end. Think I'm going to put them the 3rd notch. Anyone has used these also please fill me in.

No need for a trim packer. I've installed a couple of these on a 5th gen the past couple months. I also put then in on the top notch.

.85 setting will bring up the nose and leave a bit of rake

1.75 setting will level it at the fenders, but have about a 1/4 inch negative rake on the frame

2.5 setting up front and nothing in the rear will leave you (very) nose-high

Google search "5th gen 4Runner 5100 settings" or something similar, you will find threads and pics.

I set my 5100's to the 1.75" notch and added a 3/8" spacer to the driver front to balance out the driver side lean. I also put a OME 10mm spacer on the passenger side rear, and 2 10mm spacers on the driver side rear.

I had a 1/2" driver side lean beforehand. I now have a .75" rake and then lean is gone.
