I'm starting to think this turns into something similar to the 2nd Gen Tacoma and we may get a 10 or so year run out of it. They might cycle every color through the TRD pro line-up. Black->MGM->Red->Blue->Silver. It could be interesting to see what colors they come up with after cement. Green?

I don't think it's bad at all, the 5th gen is nice. What would be bad is if they get rid of it or go unibody with no solid rear axle. The current 4runner is still ahead of the Tacoma.
