Bilsteins 5100's all around, OME 885 coils (installing a winch) , SAW rear coils.

Do i need to install new bump stops or get one of those extender plates?

So I ordered the Icon stage 2 kit however I just have a few questions to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I have an RTT, sliders, and a k9 rack currently. I believe The icon 2 springs will support that weight correct? Also if I do get a front and/or rear bumper, will the icon 2 springs support the added weight? If not, What would I upgrade to? Should I go with heavier springs from the start? I'm afraid of putting the icon 2 kit on and having to switch it out in the next year or 2 or sooner because I add the weight of a bumper. Thanks for the help!

the reason I'm looking on amazon is because i can buy the Bilsteins (all 4 corners) for $50 less than toytec and i can also get the OME 885's for $2 less as well. Now, $2 is nothing, however where the big savings comes in is the free shipping for the 5100's and the OME's.

I can't find the SAW coils on amazon so i will buy them through toytec. However i can save 70 bucks if i order through amazon.

The total costs are $790.21 (amazon) vs $861.04 toytec


So i want to make sure that those are the right shocks for the 4runner before i pull the trigger

I just finished installing my lift over the holiday weekend. Took me about 10 hours as this was my first suspension lift. I got it all in and the body roll as well as the leveled look are much better. However, I noticed immediately that there is a bit more suspension noise up front compared to stock. I also added in SPC upper control arms so that I could get it aligned perfectly.

Does anyone else have any feedback on suspension noise? Its not a clunking noise but it sounds like the components are just louder than they were stock. Meaning, I don't think anything is loose, I just expected it to sound like stock.

Did you find out what was making the noises?

Post Daystar install/alignment help

Hey guys, I am hoping I can get some insight on an issue I am having after I installed new tires/wheels and Daystar spacers in my '16 LE. Soon after I bought my 4runner I put on BFG KO2's (275/70/17) onto -6 offset wheels. I had rubbing pretty bad so I did the fender liner mod but still rubbed near and at full lock at the back of the wheel wells. So, last Friday night I installed Daystar spacers (2.5/1.5) and had no rubbing at all. I tried to get an alignment at Big O Tires on Saturday but apparently their machine was not updated for 2016. After waiting a few days for them to get their machine updated I just had the alignment done. Driving back to my office I noticed it seemed to pull a little to the right over 45 MPH and my steering wheel is a little off center (to the right). I called Big O and was told that it is because all of the roads around here are cupped and that it is normal. Pulling into my parking lot I also am rubbing again on the front right. I am hoping that someone with a bit more knowledge than me might be able to give some input. Alignment specs are attached along with a pic of the tire hitting the fender. Thank you in advance!

Hey, can anyone help identify this lift? I recently purchased a 2010 Limited, and the dealer says its a leveling kit.

From what I can tell, the front has a 1.25" toytec spacer, but the shocks look after market, and it seems to be sitting higher than just a leveling kit.

On my 2015 LE I'm still running x-reas, for now, with Daystar spacers in front and OME 889 coils in the rear. I went against all advice on the forum which says that you can only use spacers without trashing the x-reas but it works pretty damn well and I don't mind the rake. The best part is vehicle performance off road with weekend supplies including an RTT, fridge and three dogs.
That said, I am about one beer away from ordering the remaining OME setup.

I also just had an Icon Stage 2 lift and tires installed. Agree the difference is night and day. I love it.

Not wanting to spend a ton, ICON stage 1 looks good but think I could find better for that price. Have a 1in revtek leveling now, running 265/70/17 with some rubbing. Any advice? hoping with install no more than 3k. May install myself just have to go back to the swamps for a weekend trip.

sounds like a pretty good price. Ive been doing some research and was looking at radflo 2.0 extended travel coil over with reservoir (1059) and total chaos uca (685) $1744. Rear bilstein 5100 (151) and toytec 2.0 heavyduty rear coil (210). $361. overall 2105. Its so hard to decide on soo many options ha. Nothing set in stone, but that's the best ive came up with.

Sorry for the bump - could anyone identify this Toytec suspension? Is this just a spacer or spring as well? This is on a prospective purchase at a dealer on a 2013 SR5.
