I drove around for years with lights (4) on a 'roll-bar' facing fwd, never covered, never had an issue, lived in 2 different states as well.

I heard somewhere that the hood scoop adds like 3.24 HP...can't remember where I heard it, but I believe it! I noticed a difference on mine over the LTD version I testdrove.

huh. you smoking crack? the te hood scoop is non functional, adds resistance at higher speeds and probably cuts back the mpg fractionally

depends on the state and if you really piss off the officer that pulled ya over.

And also remember with the way the economy is counties are instructing cops to be stricter as to generate money so 5mph over on the hwy might get you pulled over more likely than ever and if uncovered lights are unlawful then it's an easy reason to get pulled over at the very least.

flowthrough muffler - adds 7 to 10 HP
lightening bolts - add 6.34 HP
supercharger - add 33% HP
hot co-pilot - add 12.7 HP

but you forgot that bullet hole stickers add around 2.47 HP per sticker...

I have never dyno'ed after bullet hole stickers...sorry I didn't add that.
