5th Gen front & rear Bumper Help

good day all, greetings from Canada ( yes its still cold up here , rain and 6 degrees today

I have a 2016 Trail and looking for some advice or info regarding the front and rear bumper grey bumper garments
I will like to remove them and have them painted in black
Iv noticed many people the wrap them with vinyl or plasti dip em
but I would prefer to have them painted

my question is how to remove those grey bumper garments from the actual bumper , what is the process
( if anyone has video links or has done this mod )

those grey portions on the whote bumper are the pieces that I want to know how to remove

behind the license plate on the front
and
just above the hitch on the rear

wonder if I have to remove the whole bumper to get at them or do they just PoP out
