5th Gen strange noise . Compressor Sound

I was working in the garage and a strange sound started from the back of the 4R. It almost sounded like a compressor kicked on just not as loud. It stayed on for awhile. I had not driven the truck for about 8 hours.

tried a search could not find it.

owners manual and page 22 a section titled "For Your Information" - The second bullet says "Noise from under vehicle after turning off the engine".
