5th Gen Sub Forum Mod Update

Based on the increased number of old threads that have been brought back to life and the "New Owner" sticky having 3K+ views in less than a month, I think we can say it has helped out many of the new or prospective owners. Also I think some of the mildly offensive posts have went away too. I appreciate all the help from the regulars in getting things organized and updated.

So what else do we need here? Let me know.

Maybe compiling all these TRDP posts? We really don't need a TRDP thread, a 2016 TRDP thread, two different TRDP suspension threads either.

Also playing devils advocate here, there's a lot of TRDP bashing going on. Can't we all get along?

Let's be honest, the "belittling" comments make up a minuscule percentage of all the help, info and knowledge found on this forum. Most of those comments are directed at members that couldn't sacrifice an ounce of effort to simply search for a commonly covered topic. In the grand scheme of things this place is far kinder then the world outside of it. Maybe we should give a little leeway to those that have put in countless hours contributing to the site if they get a little crotchety with a response.

It has a FAR better feel in here, I've been meaning to say something then this thread came along. Thank you [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] for taking back the reins on this place. It was like the Wild West in here for awhile. While I must admit I miss the occasional ball busting, I don't miss the constant bickering back and forth, lack of searching, etc, etc, blah blah. So good work, it is appreciated even if people don't say anything.

sort of. that one only has peoples specific build threads. click the link and you will see what i mean. this forum is so unorganized. there could literally be a sub forum of just build threads, not a sticky, a sub forum.

I don't think there's anything that needs to be done, but in the way of throwing out ideas...

How about a sticky for the 6th gen specs/rumors? The details will be thin for now, but it should cut down on re-posts, and I'm sure the site owner(s) won't mind the hits.

Is there any interest in a sticky - if the data exist - that tracks specs and production numbers by year/edition? Of course, in place of the TRD Pro specs, just leave a note to PM [MENTION=104049]marshal[/MENTION] regarding the awesomeness of this edition.
