Hey Brock, how about we post or location and area code of our contact info. Like 1st engineer said most of us plan ahead when making a trip, so say a member was traveling through NV and AZ they could PM us (based on your list) and then we could PM them back with our full number? What do you think?

That's a good idea, we just need to think about implementation. First of all this list needs to be maintained because people sometimes change phone numbers, locations or just lose interest. Whatever published in this thread will stay in the Internet for long long time and after it's archived it can be still found in Google cache. So we need to be able to update the information to keep all this useful. I for example have company CDMS phone which can change number when I switch to GMS phone or change my job. It would be hard to go through all the pages to find latest info. Never used Google Docs, but some 3rd party storage which is maintained would be better then just post info in this thread.

As an alternative idea we could put all info we want in our personal profile and add those who don't mind to help in the friend list. That way it will be a little bit more private, we can change/remove info and it will be easier to find each other just looking at your friends list. So what do you think?


Oh forgot to mention that famous people like Antman should never publish their phone number in the Internet unless they prepared to quit job and open 4Runner consulting bisiness : )
