Specs on your suspension? Any rubbing? Also specs on the wheels.

I'll re-post since my wheels and tires have changed:

- Wheel make, model, size, backspacing/offset: Konig CountersteerX [MENTION=85422]FNWheels[/MENTION], 17x8", 4.1" BS, -10mm offset. No spacers.
- Tire make, model, size: Cooper Discoverer STT 285/70
- Suspension: Specs in Sig.

- Body Mount Chop: Yep
- Tire rub: No. Not under full lock and/or full flex, nadda.
- Fenders: Front fender liner moved forward.
- Mud flaps: Removed fronts.

I am thinking of the counter steer type Xs in gunmetal metallic for my black TE. Like the look. Can you tell me, did you have any difficulty getting the TRD center caps in there? did you just pick them up on Ebay?

Yeah man same question. I attached the specs on the SCS wheels. I'm putting on a Bilstein 5100 suspension kit at 2.5" and don't want to change the control arms just yet but stealthcustomseries wheels are just so dope.

Anyone running the FJ steelies on their TRD PRO? Looks like the FJs are 7.5 inches and the stock Pros are 7 inch width. Both wheels being 17". Considering these for a dedicated winter tire setup.

The newer Countersteers are machined to accept those TRD center caps; Confirm this before purchasing. I got the center caps at the same dealership that sold me the wheels.

got some new tires and wheels today. Mickey thompsons mtz p3 285/70/17 with Deegan 38 Pro 4. -12mm offset 17x9 with 4.5 BS no rub whatsoever with mudflappers removed on my icon lift.

been driving for a few days now. and they're not any louder than the goodyear duratrac. i like them so far. don't now if they'll get louder as they wear.

Will the 285/70/17 mounted on stock wheel rub at all?

I've been doing a lot of reading and questioning on this as I would like 285's on my truck. The consensus is that it will not rub on the rear at stock height, but you'll need at least a 1.75" lift on the front and it still may rub slightly but at 2.5" you should be fine. The other answers I've found is that all cars are made differently, even with the exact same parts, alignment can be different, and when one may rub, others won't.

I have a Bilstein 5100 set to throw on when I have some time, and they will be set at 2.5" so I'll know more then!!

I have a 3/2 lift and just installed 285 S/T MAXXs on aftermarket wheels that are 8.5" wide with -10mm offset. Had to remove the front mud flaps, push the fender liners forward and finally trim the bumper to clear them.

I'm putting some 285s on and I was wondering what everyone is doing for the spare tire? Will a 285 fit under where the stock spare is?

It was rubbing slightly with 285 but after I moved the fender liner forward all the way I can, no more rubbing full lock forward or reverse. Not sure about offroad though. I have toytec 3 inch lift kit and light racing UCA.

2016 Limited options

Just bought a 2106 Limited want to get into a wheel/snow tire package. What's the biggest wheel/tire combo that will fit on there without rubbing (looking at 17 or 18" wheels). Total 4runner noob here so any recommendations welcome! Not looking to do any suspension mods for now. Also the tires on these stock 20" rims are so narrow, anything that can be done there for summer/all season tires on those rims? Loving the truck so far! Cheers.

The chart shows that a 275/65/18 will fit stock with no rubbing. What I want to know is if putting that tire on an 18x9 rim affects things...

I have a set of Ambit 18x9 with 0 offset. Specific tire I want to get is the Toyo OC AT2s (P).
