I love methods but I know if you decide to get them, you should also invest in some hubcentric rings to prevent potential vibration. 108 to 106mm.

Would mind elaborating on this. I am new to this Forum and my 2016 4Runner (Yay!). I am not familiar with the problem and the suggested fix.

Toyota's have hub centric wheels. Methods are lug centric wheels with a 108mm bore, and Toyota's have a 106mm hub.
While 2mm doesn't seem like much, some people have reported vibration while driving with Method wheels. Many companies make rings to sit behind your wheels that will convert your 106mm hub to a 108mm hub, and therefore should eliminate any vibration issues with Method wheels.
Good luck with your choice. Method wheels are sharp!

I have a 2017 TRD Pro and am considering putting a set of hub centric wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive look. Does anyone know how thick I can go without rubbing?

Hey guys. I just did the 6112 and 5100 setup on my black '16 TEP. Now...I need wheels. I want to stick with a 265 but on a 17 x 8 or 17 x9 wheel. It's got to be hub centric and not too heavy? Any advice on style and colors? Right now...I'm between the fn countersteer type x's in black or the Stealth Ray 10's in the dark bronze matte. What do you guys think?

Same issue - did the fix work?
I'm getting the same rub on my 2016 Trail with the same tires. My wheels are American Racing AR-172s. Any luck with the heat and remold, or did you have to shave the lower edge of the front bumper? BTW, mine is rubbing only on the driver's side and only when backing up with the wheel cut to one extreme direction (clockwise).

Hey guys, Yes I have read thru the entire 20 pages of this thread. Yes i may have missed it, yes i googled it, and no i haven't figured out an answer.. Sorry in advance... I had every intent on lifting and going smaller in wheel size with an all terrain tire but for my job that is not practical now.
I have a 2014 LE stock suspension with the factory 20" wheel on Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275/55/20. 30k + miles on the tires and they have been great and have plenty of tread left. I want to replace the factory 20' wheel with a something different but keep the tire.
The wheel i have found is a 6x139.7
20" x 8.5" with +30mm offset, 106.1 hub bore
The factory wheel is 20"x7 with +15mm offset and 106.1 hub bore. (unless i am wrong)
My question is with the +30mm offset and the 275/55/20 tire. Per the calculator on wheel-size.com it is telling me this Tire is 15 mm closer to suspension components. Rim is 34 mm closer to suspension components. and Rim offset is more than OE, so brake support will be closer to the rim. Make sure they are not touching.
The offset seems high but being the wheel is 1.5" wider than stock i don't know if it will rub or not.... I cant find anyone on here that is running a 20" rim with an offset that high on a factory suspension...
Any ideas?
