6th Time's a Charm

Today was a good day- picked up a 2018 Cavalry Blue TRD Pro. Build thread to come. Weather Techa and Canvasback already done day one but the good stuff comes soon. After a two year gap between 4runners it's good to be back in one. Dealer said it was one of 3 Cavalry Blue realeased in Southeast Toyota. The color is so incredible in person. Lots of folks are saying they dislike it on here but I love it. It reminds me of Mexico Blue porsches which is my favorite car color. I brought it home late so it's a sad garage pic but in the sun the color is so cool.

Went to order and learned they were one of 3 dealerships getting a blue one this month. Ordering they said earliest would have been March of 2018 so I got lucky I found this dealership. Payed MSRP- I found some dealers that were trying to sell all their Pro's above MSRP

Went to order and learned they were one of 3 dealerships getting a blue one this month. Ordering they said earliest would have been March of 2018 so I got lucky I found this dealership. Payed MSRP- I found some dealers that were trying to sell all their Pro's above MSRP

In the Denver area they are charging $7,500 on top of MSRP for the Calvary Blue and + $5,000 for any Trd Pro in non special color. That was a good deal, MSRP is always a good price to pay especially getting it so quick.

Congrats! To me this color is beautiful but it looks too "flashy" for my taste -- prefer the more "subdued" cement color, for example. Enjoy!

I actually worked with a dealer in South Carolina right outside Hilton Head. They had a blue ones already lined up so I did not need to wait to order one.

Looks great man! I love that color, and MSRP is a great deal (not that you didn't know that already). I wish I could have afforded this truck, but it was minimum another $10k more than I paid.

Autonation are a bunch of clowns. I dealt with them when trying to obtain bids for another F-150 (before I wised up and bought my new 4Runner), and I've sworn to never do business with that dealership conglomerate in the future.

Very cool. Congrats! Gave up after 2 weeks of searching for a Cavalry Blue. I'm also a big fan of Mexico Blue and Rivera Blue on p-cars as well as Nogaro on Audi.
