I think towing that much with a 4Runner would completely suck, coming all the way from Arizona to southeastern Tennessee. You would have serious problems going around the ridgecut in Chattanooga along I-24. Especially not having a supercharger, an external transmission cooler, or the Tundra brakes upgrade, I wouldn't make that haul with my 4Runner.

Yup confirmed my fears, be far cheaper to buy a rig to tow with then to upgrade my runner. And even if I upgraded, it likely wouldn't do it. Could probably pick up a older chevy or dodge dully for the price of a SC. Always wanted a dully anyway lol.

What brings you to Chattanooga? It's a beautiful city, I absolutely love it. Do you know what part of the city you plan to live in?

Mostly the fact that we where supposed to be out of this house over a year ago. We are barley able to keep the lights on let alone get into a new place. As unfortunate as it is, the life insurance from my roommates recently deceased mother is going to move us. We have no idea what the dollar amount is going to be, but with any luck it will be here next week. If its large enough we hope to leave hot ass AZ and go be around a old friend that moved out there. He loves it out there and I am jealous when he sends pics or videos of him just driving around in his lowered Eclipse. I have no idea where he actually is, I only know hes right off a highway and theirs not much around. I actually wondered if you mite know Austin after I saw you where in the same town.

Sounds like we use our runners for similar purposes!
Mine is also the daily family hauler and I tow my boat around your neck of the woods in the summer (Naramata). That said, last year I installed OME 906's with blistien HD's and it's the best upgrade I've done! The ride isn't harsh at all, they actually make the truck feel more planted in corners. Can't speak for the air bag route but I'm certainly happy (as is the wife) with the OME's.

That's great feedback! Unfortunately, My engine blew, so I'll have to wait until I get a JDM replacement.... when That's paid for, then I'll start saving for the suspension upgrade or Tundra brake upgrade... luckily they're way less expensive than an engine! :canada:
