5100 rears were on national backorder for awhile so I lucked out that I bought right when retailers were getting their shipments. Meanwhile, ordered my Metal Tech sliders on 4/8 and probably still a few weeks away. I guess some things we just have to patiently wait but it'll be worth it.

I hear ya. I DETEST driving anything stock, let a lone a 4runner. Demello will have me fixed up in a couple of weeks though.

My mom and brother each bought a car from them through TrueCar. They had a similar quick experience as OP. Seems like they'd recommend using them in the future
Didn't know ES TECHNICAL did lifts I knew them way back when I was into imports n that's all they dealt with. Did u buy the lift kit from them????

I bought the wheels and tires from ES. Tetsu (tech) drives his lifted 4th gen T4R off-road when he's not autocrossing or at the track.

Toytec direct from their website. This isn't the Ultimate kit, it's their 3" Bilstein 5100 lift.

Unfortunately that was my mother's boyfriend's FJ40... I probably could have purchased it from him before he passed away, but I didn't have the money for it (he turned down an offer of $24,000 once that I know of). It was an AZ FJ40... absolutely no rust and then he built it up to be his desert cruiser.
Still going crazy waiting for my 4R TE though.

Oh hahaha nice! After all the T4R fun earlier, I was just putting my R700 short action .308 into a XLR Carbon chassis. Realized the scope rings I ordered are sold in singles so have to wait a few more days. Bah!

Tetsu at ès...what a blast from the past! Been well over a decade since I've been over there! No idea they worked on 4Runners, too! Need to reconnect over there and check out his 4th gen!

Added the Nox Lux blackout emblems. See first post for pics. Questioning the value of $100 plastic overlays on a silver truck since the chrome emblems really didn't stick out anyways.
Metal Tech sliders install this weekend. Waiting for hardware from Metal Tech after the original bolts/washers were lost in transit from a box opening up. UPS just taped the end of the box up
