i got a 91 4runner, and i need to replace the headgasket since it just failed, and im going to replace the water pump, timing belt and so forth, and apparently there are 2 versions of the water pump, one for a apparent tow package and one with out?, how do i tell which one i am in need of and so forth thanks
There is a coolant line that runs from the water pump to the driver's side of the engine in to something a little bigger than a can of soup. That is the oil cooler.
You can see it just to the right of the engine mount. The hose runs under the mount to the water pump.
