hahah thanks guys! They are truly awesome.... either way, whenever your ready to step into the "projector zone" (twilight zone theme song going through my mind...) just shoot me a PM and we can build something specifically for you. I've been known to give discounts to forum members too.

x3. I was very tempted but like Bigfish said, it's above that impulse buy price limit. The black is what killed it for me, it doesn't match my truck at all and I can't see spending that money to tear it apart and repaint it.

Thanks Dirtco! I'm pretty sure if I lived closer I would trade you some retrofit labour for some of those super pretty welds.... hahah

PS - My LS460 retrofit is staying all chrome. Gunna try and keep it more OEM looking, kind of like an OEM Transformer. hahah

Actually are the LS projectors the same as the q45s? So are the quality of the oems better than the evoxr's.

I just used a LED bulb to replace the halogen one that is in there. I forgot the bulb # specifically but it will be listed in the LED conversion threads.... GL!

Actually are the LS projectors the same as the q45s? So are the quality of the oems better than the evoxr's.

Here is an example of the Q45 projectors (not my work...):

They are notoriously "cool" but thats about it. Their light output is terrible and definitely worse than my EvoX-R projectors.

The LS460 projectors are from a Lexus, not an Infiniti like the Q45's. The Ls460 projectors have a secondary reflector bowl below the main bowl to artificially increase width of the beam by bouncing light around in a crazy way. The LS's are claimed to be the best Bi-Xenon projector money can buy. The only projector that tops it on the low beam department with even more width, is the LS430 projector by a small margin, which is solely a low beam projector.

It depends on what year your truck is. I can give you my bulb list for a 98 but it may not be what you need. I suggest doing a forum search for LED conversions and you will find all your looking for for your particular year T4R.

They are a little big, but I think the alternative Lightforce striker 170's are too small. Not to mention I bought the lights used for $50. hahaha I couldnt say no and yes they are going to be bright as hell!

I LOVE my striker 170's, but those 240's converted to HID will be unreal! I may have to go back and read through this from the beginning...

Oh, you can't go wrong with Lightforces period. I never heard anything bad about them. When I get around to converting my Lightforces I am going to make a write-up on the conversion.
