Ah, I see it now. Looks like the 99-02 is like 3-4 inches higher. Never saw anyone complain about having to adjust to the height difference when resting your arm on it compared to the old. So I guess it's not a big difference?

5spd vs. auto on the console upgrade?

Will the auto cup holder consoles fit in my 5speed ‘96?
Or do I have to hunt for a unicorn 5 speed cup holder console?

The consoles and cup holders are the same, the only difference is the shifter surround piece.
