A/c drain mod

Have you guys checked your A/C drain? The A/C drain is located above the chassis that could potentially lead to corrosion. I baby my T4R so I made a mod to extend the drain tube pass below the chassis. Just sharing to those who cares:wink2:

Nice mod but question: How is it going to lead to corrosion more so than driving my 4Runner in the mud, snow, rain, sand, salt and rocks?

Yeah. Not a bad idea, but I agree. This area is gonna get wet anyway unless you live in the desert in which case the dewpoint may be low enough that no condensation forms on the A/C system....

Yeah I'm not so much concerned about rust as the being orderly. As is, its kind of like my 4Runner is drooling on his own chin. Vs spitting in the pittoon.

The only vehicles I've had that get the plugged AC drain ass smell were GMC trucks.

No Toyota I have had has had issues, and I feel that screwing with the drain might cause problems...

Here in Seattle, the undersides of our vehicles are wet 9 months of the year, so this mod won't help much.

mine was plugged when i bought it - there was about a half gallon of water in the airbox in the center stack. cleaned it out and it all drained out. no issues since
