A/C exploded

Dam winch +cable worn a hole in the liquid line and blew oil and Freon all over the place.

That was easy

Bought a splice kit and cut out the bad piece of pipe and got A/C pro. Put on the splice kit charged it up and it works nice....

Glad to hear it was an easy repair. Do you have a pic of the splice installed? How is it held in - a pair of compression fittings?

I did the same thing installing my winch, except instead of going for the splice I used JB weld to cover the hole. My buddy has an a/c machine so he ran the vacuum tests on the line and it held, so he recharged it for me.

Worked good a/c is cold as shit.
