A question for those with the T4r4life CB antenna mount!

Hey guys, I think I already know the answer but I just want to clarify! I was wondering, with the T4r4life mount, does the back hatch hit the antenna when you open it? or does the mount extend out far enough so that it does not?

If I were to guess, he probably designed it to not do that, but if the mount is anything like the creator, it's probably an *******.
 
OK, I have Amateur radio and GROL licenses and am an RF engineer at work.
But WTF is an T4r4life CB antenna mount ??
What's it for and what's wrong with it ???

I did this too! He lives right around the corner from me. Wish i wouldve seen his first. I just had to put the OL in the vice and smack it a few times so it wouldnt hit my lift gate
 
My hatch rubs my ODL mount. It HIT the hatch the first time I closed it after installing and chipped a VERY small piece of the paint. (Yes I have installed it properly, and bent it in as far as possible.

I just the the "T4R" on the T4R4Life mount was a bit tacky, or I would have gone that route.
