? about wiring Baja Designs S8 light

The Baja S8 has 2 lighting features, the bright bar and a subtle running light.

I would like to have the running light wired to the fog lights. I searched the forum and others have don it, but it seemed complex for my limited wiring experience. I was wondering if I could "cheat" and simply splice into one of the fog lights for power. Since it is a low draw, I was hoping a 5 minute splice would work.

I will be wiring the main bar the correct way (relay, fuse, etc.)

Any thoughts on the running light?

Here is how I ran my wires for the [MENTION=87816]Baja Designs[/MENTION] . Basically it piggybacks the tail light fuse...

Great write up, thanks. I will use a lot of the advise for when I wire the main light bar. When I did my search, I didn't include "S8". I should have.

However, I am looking to have them run when the fog lights are on. Would it be a matter of doing the same as you did but tapping into the fog light fuse instead?
