ABS Noise and Vibration

When I brake on snow in my 2013, there is a lot of vibration coming back through the brake pedal. It also sounds like small machine gun fire. I have had ABS on other vehicles, but not had it behave this noise or vibrate this much. Is it loud for everyone? Very annoying!

Thats how Toyota's ABS sounds. Try using DAC...Now that is really annoying!

up until I got my 2014 LE, Toyota abs have always been loud or massive feedback in the brake pedal.

on the 2014, I can barely feel it or hear it which is nice and bad. cant tell when it engages to feather the brake like I normally do.

Mine is pretty quiet with some feed back. OTOH my Subaru sounds like its going to explode. I don't really mind this because it's usually a good reminder that I need to slow down.

Its a characteristic of the hydraulic brake booster, should sound the same when ATRAC is being used.
