AC pressures and noise?

So I had this issue with compressor making rattling noise and no cold air. I borrowed a friend's manifold gauges today. Temp is 68 degrees outside.

Pressures with ac off: L 68, H 70.

With AC on, L 0. H 70.

Added R134a. Added 12 oz. Got L to 32 and H to 220. Could not get to 35 on L side. Just stayed at 32. I tried adding more from a second can. Could not get above 32 psi.

Let ac run a while. L fluctuates between 28-32 depending on whether compressor is on or off. H is around 175 (all at idle).

If I keep rpm at about 2000, L fluctuates between low 20's to high 40's. Low 20's with compressor on and high 40's with compressor off. Compressor cycles every few seconds.

Air is very cold now. Do these numbers make sense? BTW, compressor (or clutch) still makes noise (but only when compressor is running). Thanks. Dave

Could someone help me with this? I am hoping ac is not overcharged.

Static pressure this am in my garage with vehicle having sat overnight:

L-73, H-74.....ambient temp in garage was 73 degrees.

Yesterday, with ac running on high,

L was 28-30 and H was around 200.

I have also ordered a freon sensor to see if I have any leaks. AC is now cold but don't want to screw up anything by having overcharged it. Once I am sure I have no leaks, I will take it to a shop to have it evacuated and recharged. Thanks very much.
