setup the ARB rear 3rd today. Building the TCases tomorrow too.

It will be a daily driver. Very streetable.

Getting really close. Duals are in. Just need to cut holes for shifters.

Rear axle is in place and disc brake kit is on. We set the pinion angle today and will be dropping off drive shafts later today. Wheels are supposed to ship this week too. Hopefully it will be moving soon.

Sliders are built now too.

Tacoma dual case crossmember. TG makes it. works with a early crawl box and factory Tacoma or 4runner rear chain drive case.

With the dual cases and drivers drop front diff, what was the clearance between the rear case and gas tank? I was under the impression there will be some clearance issues.

I see in the pictures there seems to be plenty of room, but for some reason I thought there wouldn't be room. I was told the 4th gens wouldn't have room either. (This is based of the Fj guys having clearance issues)

FJ is a completely different chassis than this. There is plenty of clearance for duals in a 3rd gen. It even clears the crossmember directly in front of the fuel tank.

Its a completely different animal to be honest. My old one was only 22.5" frame height. This will be around 26"

Mine was almost too low though. Very little up travel at all.

I'm interested to see how the higher center of gravity affects the truck, even with the extra uptravel taken into account. My 3-link setup is being based loosely on your 00 and it's getting close to cuttin' time so I'm trying to put in my due diligence with all this stuff...
