Addicted's 96' 4runner using TG Tacoma SAS kit

I'm interested to see how the higher center of gravity affects the truck, even with the extra uptravel taken into account. My 3-link setup is being based loosely on your 00 and it's getting close to cuttin' time so I'm trying to put in my due diligence with all this stuff...

Overall width will be the same due to the much lower backspacing on Glade's wheels. He just loaded up the wheels and tires into the truck to get them mounted up, so I should have pics up today of actual ride height.

Its been my experience with these kits that they settle 2". So, although it looks tall right now in the pics, it will end up sitting lower over the next couple weeks.

Well, she is driving. Wheels showed up yesterday and its out of the shop. We just need to finish up a few little things. FWIW, this thing is tall. Frame height at 28.25" when it left. Hoping that will settle at least 2" over the next couple weeks.

Next is sliders and a rear bumper.

Very nice build. This runner is now leaps more capable than mine/most offroad. The rear axle looks so much better then a toyota unit with the shock mounts and disc brakes. But I do want to be a rock in your shoe about taking it back to 1985 with the front leafs. on top of losing the rear coils/rack and pinion.. I mean... hmm..
...the things people will do for cup holders.:nono:

This is pretty common on leaf sprung 3rd gens. It should settle a couple inches. He drove it home tonight, so we'll see how it looks later this week.

It's also deceiving without the sliders and rear bumper on it.
