Aftermarket AMP wiring with JBL oem system

Well my 5 channel AMP came in and the thing is surprisingly huge, but that's a different story.

My question is how do you guys wire the amp in? Do you run separate speaker wires to individual door speaker and sub?

Or do/can you run the wires spliced to the original harness that is plugged to the OEM JBL amp?

If so, can someone provide a wiring diagram of what wires go where; speakers and remote?

So all I have to run is Power and ground..

I just did this, super easy. You have an aftermarket deck I assume to run the RCA wires from? Do that then just run wire from amp to the factory plug on the amp. They make a harness actually that you don't have to cut the stock amp plug off, but I just cut it anyway. I'll try and find the wiring diagram I used.

Yes I have a aftermarket HU. I will have to run RCA to the am also.

I appreciate the wiring diag. Also if you can reference the harness plug that would be great.
