Yes it's the projector housing. Purchased the rings from LED concept and had my friend install them for me.

Guys, STAY AWAY from non-name branded/cheapies!! I understand we all have our preferences and money issues, but don't expect to recieve reliable and quality headlights when not paying the buck, aftermarkets ARE supposed to be costly!
I'm saying this because I have some shitty ones now, and I've already wet sanded/clear coated the lenses and resealed them for all the problems some are experiencing now.
I just purchased these, an upgrade to the ones I have now
I've seen knockoffs of these all over, so you can imagine how easily it is to get stumped.
I'll update the thread later when I recieve and install them and provide some feedback. it IS always good to add an extra seal where they come together for safe measures, that never hurts! for those experiencing condensation.
I've heard mixed responses from this source, but I purchased them here: wiring harnes is an extra $20 so $285.00 in total. that's about the range for quality aftermarkets, but like I said I'll update once I have them in hand www.protuninglab.com

Does anyone have any experience with these? I really like the idea of the smoked covers obscuring the lights inside, visually continuing the continuity of the surfaces. ...kinda 'stealth'-like.

Nice setups guys. Here's mine
My iPhone 7 camera can't focus enough on the lights (nice, apple) but I like to go with the original 6500k look, no colors for me. So far I love them , bulbs are also in 6500k xenon

You will have to buy the rings from a company that makes them. I bought mine from LED concept they are RGB. To get them install you can either find someone who can install them or if you want to do it yourself it is just baking the headlights, pulling them apart, and using epoxy to adhere the rings on and Dremel holes to run the wires throughI already got the brand ,i zoomed in the pic and for 15 mins tried to figure out what the writing says
