Aftermarket Keyless Entry - Help identify lock/unlock wires - 2002 4Runner

Hi all,

I'm tired of futzing with programming the remote key fob so I'm adding 3rd party remote door locks. I have the FSM which shows the lock/unlock signal wires going to to the BCM. Photo attached.

My challenge is that the wiring labels in the diagram don't match my vehicle. I believe the wires are position 10 and 11, and the colors are red and red/white.
Pretty sure these are tied to the front large B16 connector.

Can someone validate the plug ID or point me in the right direction? This is for a 2002 4runner. I'm certain this has been done. I found a good video for a Tacoma but it's not the same BCM.

It's possible that it is the pin number above the wire, but the colors don't align...

Ok - it appears that the entire diagram is for B16 which is the plug itself as per this thread: HELP identify this part

However, I'm concerned that the wire colors in the diagram don't align with what I am seeing on my B16 connector. The diagram appears to show Red and Red/White wires for positions 11 and 12. On my plug they are not these colors. Nor are 9 and 10. (I'm uncertain what the gray box means).

Still looking - if anyone has guidance I'd welcome it!

Pins 10 and 11 with the wires that go to the door lock switches are not on that plug. Since they are in the gray box, they go into the fuse panel, then out on the "1H" connector on the BACK of the fuse panel. (the body ECU plugs into the fuse panel)

It will be much easier to find those wires on the "IF1" connector, which is where the door harness connects to the dash (cowl) harness, behind the kick panel cover, on pins 3 and 4 there.

I'll just look for red and red/white wires at a minimum..

It plugs into the back of the fuse box. You'll have to unbolt the box to get access to it easily... which is why I suggest finding the other end of those wires by the connector to the door harness.

Got it going! This was the clue I needed to get it done. Once I removed the fuse box I was able to flip it over to find the connector with two side by side wires - red and red/white. Spliced in the keyless entry wires and I'm good to go.

Didn't see this in time. I did look for the other harness connector but the junction on the back of the fuse box wasn't hard to work with.
