Aftermarket radiator with integrated trans cooling - replace fittngs?

If I were to get my hands on a Champion or other all-metal radiator w/trans cooler, is it a good idea to replace the trans cooler connector fittings as well? I honestly haven't been down there for a look - are they integrated into the lines?

I don't understand what you're asking about. Are you talking about the part of the radiator where the trans cooler lines connect? Or are you talking about the rubber hose and tension clamps that go between the metal transmission cooler lines and the transmission cooler barbs on the radiator?

Anything that isn't part of the radiator or the trans lines. Can I reuse whatever I detach or it there an replacement opportunity. Again, I haven't even looked at the fittings, yet, and I should have before even posting the question. Mah bad

LOL I think you need to look at a tutorial video to understand why know one understands you right now. The fittings you are thinking of always come with a new radiator.

Can't speak for the champion, but my denso rad came with new metal fittings. The oem stuff is hard line from trans, then to rubber hose, both slip on with a clamp both sides. If anything I'd replace the 2 rubber hoses due to age then anything else.

The 3rd gens don't use the snap fit fittings like GM or Ford uses.

I see that now. I thought there may be threaded line connectors like on some of my American vehicles. After watching a couple videos (which I should have done in the first place), I don't think I'll mess with the Champion for a variety of reasons.

Hopefully, my dumb question will gracefully sink into oblivion....
