Air horn train horn install

I got a train horn for Christmas, and just got around to installing it. Nothing special or difficult about the install. I think it was $175-$200 but I'm not sure.

I like it because it's close the pitch of the factory horn, is compact, and didn't require any mods to install.

Wiring is super simple. The compressor and horns have a switched 12 source, the compressor is grounded, and the horn is triggered by pulsing ground with the button. Everything is independent of the factory horn. My switched 12v supply is from the 120V AC relay location that I don't have installed. I simply insert a flat blade connector into the 12v relay pin. This way everything is removable.

No audio clip yet, but I'm on it.

looks like my kit when i first got it. Youll want to upgrade that clear line to a hard line 3/8 line. Mine blew up first time it aired up. Mines 5 years old and works great. I put different horns on but i like it. Lots of fun.

I think the line problem has been addressed because my kit came with a fitting that I had to change. The line connection at the horns is extremely tight. I had to use a lighter to soften the hose enough, then some grease on the fitting to get it on. I doubt it's going anywhere. Been using it with no problems so far.

im looking at getting air horns/on board air for my truck, my main thing is finding out where to put the air tank and the air compressor and have them not use up much space or be in the way of anything.

You did see above at his compressor that mounts in the engine compartment?

the little air horn is still doing great. dont know if i will ever go to a big air horn or not. yea i like the tank mount but i dont know if i would have a tank that big on the fender. once i add an air tank with my pump i have i might
