Hey, Alex! Hope you're well! Love following you build Wanted to ask... what do you like and dislike more about your 5th gen (over your 4th gen). I hate that I'm starting to like the look of these more...

You know... I never really had interest in the 5th gens, but as I see a few here and there, I'm starting to really fall in love.
I really wish though, that I could take a lot of the stuff off mine and use it on the gen 5... if I bought one. One of your 'crew' posted a picture of their white trail edition and I think that's what just made me fall off the edge.

The 5th gen just looks and feels more as a truck and drives heavier then 4th gen. I loved mine 4th gen a lot because it was smooth and had some goodies that 5th gen don't have such as automatic suction rear door latch. But like you said i looked at some 5th gen and fell in love with how they look with some modifications. I did not want to put as much money as i did in the 5th gen modding it, in my old 4th gen because i unfortunately had no time to fix something if it would come down to it. I got a very good deal on the 5th gen and i jumped on it. I can tell you this that i loved the ride of Limited much more then my sr5, when i traded my 2013 sr5 and got 2014 limited. I also loved that i felt like i'm driving a real truck and not truck wanna be like other makers make their SUV. It is definately taller then 4th gen and bigger. But now i do not have either 4runner. if you have specific questions let me know i'll be more then happy to answer them.

So I see you got rid of your 2013, and not sure if you've done much modding to your 2014 yet, but did you ever end up getting a compressor? I'm debating between the CKMA12 and the CKMTA12 myself and had some of the same space concerns you mentioned since I want to do a dual battery as well...

he got rid of the 2014 too! Got a Lexus and is also now a proud daddy.

Yeah as mention before I got rid of my 2014, but if I would keep it and had to buy the compressor I would go with CKMTA12, even though you might not use it fully at first, i'm sure there are going to be instances where if you don't get it, you will regret it. If you go offroad and someone don't have a compressor they will ask to use yours and I think the other model hits up faster then dual compressor.
