Another 33" tire thread.

Hey guys a have a 1998 SR5. I have a ToyTec 3" lift. The wheels I have are Moto Metal wheels with 0mm offset and 4.5" backspacing. I am planning on getting some BFGs KO2 285/75r16. I have read that with this offset and backspacing I won't rub but I have also read the opposite. Can anybody tell me if I will or not. Will I need spacers and if so what size will I need? Thank you all and sorry for another tire thread.

No direct knowledge other than the endless cranial intercourse about it. Similar situation myself, SS1.2 lift but also have SPC UCAs which allows more flexibility for making clearance.

Thinking you might not have much rubbing, may need to trim the liners a little bit. Probably nothing too drastic.

Just got some American Racing AR23 wheels, which are 0 offset, 4.5" BS. Thinking I'm going with Cooper S/T MAXX in the same size 285/75-16. Prepared to do a little alterations if needed but I'm thinking not much will be needed. It's not a daily driver so can play around figuring it out once I get the tires.

Try running it without spacers, don't just presume they will be needed. Spacers plus backspacing can cause serious rubbing when turning the wheel at no flex.
