Another AT cooler thread...

Forgive me for doing this but... I sprung on the B&M cooler and plan to install it before the warm weather comes. I know I want to avoid the "pink milkshake." I have questions though. Will the stock cooler stay in place? The placement of the new one will be in front of the rad or behind? Seems I saw a thread that shows driver side placement in front of the rad is ideal? Will the new cooler be exclusive of the rad or in line? Is the stock one in line? Sorry for the unorganized manor of the questions I just want to protect my investment and make it ready for adventure!! Thanks in advance.

Basically, you can do this two ways.

You can run them in a series, or you can run them independent of each other.

The best way to avoid the pink milkshake is to run them independently.

Placement is up to you. If you can put it behind the rad, go for it. Probably not going to happen though because of the fan.

I have mine in front of my rad and AC.

Had it like that for over a year, and have had no problems.

Use what you've found on other write ups.

You are not preventing the milkshake if you put them inline, the fluid will still go through your radiator.

For placement, actually read the instructions with your B&M cooler. They will give you all the info you need regarding placement.
